Check Da Ladies of da League skipping crew at BMW Theatre as part of Next Wave Festival on Saturday 29th May at 3pm and 9pm. You really really should see it whether you're a hip hop head (it's more theatre than hip hop so all you hard heads chill the fk out) or an old lady with claws for fingers.
It really is incredible and there ain't nothing like it anywhere. Anywhere! They skip, they rap, they sing and dance, and by the end of the show, they'll steal your hearts... and then sell em on their stall.
and if that's not enough, it may be their last show, which is kinda tragic. Although you'll have to watch it to understand why.
